How to Purge Cache in Cloudflare
Purging cache in Cloudflare is useful when you’ve made updates to your website and want visitors to see the latest content immediately. Cloudflare’s caching can speed up load times, but outdated files may still be displayed unless the cache is cleared. Here’s how to purge the cache in Cloudflare:
Step 1: Log in to Your Cloudflare Account
Access your Cloudflare account by logging in at https://www.cloudflare.com/.

Step 2: Select Your Domain
From the Cloudflare dashboard, locate Your Sites and click on the domain for which you want to clear the cache.
Step 3: Go to the Caching Section
In the domain’s settings page, navigate to the Caching tab from the top menu. This section includes options for managing and purging cache.

Step 4: Choose a Cache Purge Option
You have two main options for purging the cache:
- Purge Everything: Clears the entire cache for your site.
- Custom Purge: Allows you to purge specific files by entering their URLs.
Click Purge Everything if you want to clear the cache for your whole site, or select Custom Purge and enter specific URLs to clear certain files only.

Step 5: Confirm the Purge
After selecting the appropriate purge option, confirm your choice by clicking Purge. You’ll see a confirmation message once the cache has been successfully purged.

By purging your cache, Cloudflare will begin serving the latest version of your site’s content, ensuring visitors see up-to-date files and changes.
