How to Disable Leech Protection in cPanel

If you no longer need Leech Protection for a specific folder, follow these steps to disable it:

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

  • Begin by logging into your cPanel account.

Step 2: Access the Leech Protection Interface

  • Scroll down to the Security section.
  • Click on Leech Protection.

Step 3: Select the Folder to Disable Protection

  • Navigate to the folder for which Leech Protection is currently enabled. Click on Edit next to that folder.

Step 4: Disable Leech Protection

  • Once inside the folder settings, click Disable to turn off Leech Protection for that folder.

Step 5: Confirmation

  • You will receive a message confirming that Leech Protection has been successfully disabled for the selected folder.
