How to Enable Account Login Notifications in cPanel

Account login notifications in cPanel alert you to any successful or failed login attempts, helping you monitor for unauthorized access. Follow these steps to enable this feature.

Step 1: Log in to Your cPanel Account

Begin by logging into your cPanel account using your username and password.

Step 2: Go to the Contact Information Section

Once logged in, scroll to the Preferences section on the main cPanel dashboard and click on Contact Information.

Step 3: Enable Login Notifications

  1. In the Contact Information window, make sure your email address is correct, as notifications will be sent there.
  2. Check the box that says Notify me when someone logs in to my account.
  3. Optionally, also check Notify me when there are failed login attempts on my account for full monitoring.

Step 4: Save Your Settings

Once you have selected the notifications, click Save at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.

Confirmation

You should now receive email alerts for each login attempt on your cPanel account. Monitor these alerts and review any unexpected login activity.
