Locating hosting account’s IP address in cPanel

A records are the most basic DNS records that are used to point a domain or subdomain to an IP Address (your hosting server). However, A Records only point to IPv4 addresses.

In order to check your current IP address, access your cPanel account, and check the right section of the dashboard.

• Any DNS record changes trigger propagation which can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate worldwide.
