How to Change Nameservers in Hostinger

Changing your domain’s nameservers allows you to point your domain to a different hosting provider or DNS service. Follow these steps to change nameservers at Hostinger:

Step 1: Log in to Hostinger

  • Access Hostinger login Hostinger Website

Step 2: Access the Domain Portfolio

  • In the left sidebar, find the Domains section.
  • Click on the Domain Portfolio option. This will open a page listing all your domains.

Step 3: Select the Domain

  • Scroll through the list to find the domain for which you want to change the nameservers.
  • On the right-hand side of the domain name, click the Manage button.

Step 4: Open DNS/Nameservers Settings

  • After the domain management page opens, locate the DNS/Nameservers option in the left-side menu and click on it.

Step 5: Change Nameservers

  • On this page, you will see the current nameservers listed.
  • Click the Change Nameservers button (in purple) to proceed.

Step 6: Select the “Change Nameservers” Option

  • A new dropdown will appear with the following options:
    • Use Hostinger nameservers (recommended)
    • Change nameservers
  • Select the Change nameservers radio button.

Step 7: Enter Your New Nameservers

  • In the fields provided, enter the new nameservers you want to use for your domain.

Step 8: Save Changes

  • After entering the new nameservers, click the Save button (in purple) to apply the changes.

Step 9: Confirmation

  • A success popup will appear, confirming that your nameservers have been successfully updated.
