How to Add an MX Record in Plesk
Adding an A Record in Plesk is simple. Follow these steps to point your domain to a specific IP address.
Step 1: Log in to Plesk
Log in to your Plesk account.

Step 2: Navigate to Websites & Domains
In the left sidebar, locate and click on Websites & Domains.

Step 3: Select the Domain
Scroll to the domain you want to edit and click on the domain name to access settings.

Step 4: Open Hosting & DNS Settings
Under your selected domain, find the Hosting & DNS tab and click on DNS Settings.

Step 5: Add a New Record
Click Add Record on the DNS Settings page.

Step 6: Choose MX Record Type
In the Record type dropdown, select MX.
Step 7: Enter Record Details
- Priority: Set the priority (lower numbers have higher priority).
- Mail Domain: Leave blank to apply to the root domain or specify a subdomain.
- Mail Exchanger: Enter the mail server address.
Step 8: Save Changes
Click OK to save.

And that’s it! You’ve added an MX record in Plesk.
