How to Install SSL Using Let’s Encrypt™ SSL Plugin in cPanel
Installing an SSL certificate is crucial for ensuring secure communication between your website and its visitors. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to install SSL using the Let’s Encrypt™ SSL Plugin in cPanel:
Step 1: Log in to cPanel
- Open your web browser and navigate to your cPanel login page.
- Enter your cPanel username and password, then click

.
Step 2: Locate Let’s Encrypt™ SSL
- In the cPanel dashboard, scroll down to the Security section.
- Find the Let’s Encrypt™ SSL icon, which is typically represented by a lock icon.

Step 3: Issue a New Certificate
- Click on the Let’s Encrypt™ SSL icon.
- Under the Actions tab, you will see the option to Issue a new certificate.

Step 4: Configure Certificate Settings
- Click the Issue button next to the domain you want to secure.
- You will see an option to Add cPanel subdomains. Enable this option by ticking the checkbox. If you use Cloudflare or another DNS provider, do not enable this option before pointing your IP address correctly.

- Leave all other settings as default.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page. In a blue-colored box, you will see another Issue button.
- Click the Issue button to complete the process.
