Softaculous makes installing WHMCS in cPanel simple and efficient. Follow these steps for a quick installation.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel / DirectAdmin

• Begin by logging into your cPanel / DirectAdmin account.

Step 2: Open Softaculous

• In the Software section of your cPanel dashboard, click on Softaculous Apps Installer.

Step 3: Locate WHMCS

• Once inside Softaculous, type “WHMCS” into the search bar or navigate to the Billing category on the left, where you’ll find WHMCS.

Step 4: Begin the Installation

• Click on Install next to WHMCS. This will open the installation settings page.

Step 5: Configure Installation Details

1. Choose Protocol: Select http:// or https:// depending on your SSL setup.
2. Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install WHMCS.
3. In Directory: Leave this blank to install WHMCS directly in the main domain, or specify a directory if desired.
4. Company Name: Enter the name of your business.
5. Admin Folder: Set a unique name for the WHMCS admin directory for security.
6. Admin Username and Password: Create a secure username and password for accessing the WHMCS admin area.

Step 6: Finish Installation

• Once all details are entered, click Install at the bottom of the page. The installation process will begin and may take a few minutes.

Step 7: Access WHMCS

• After successful installation, Softaculous will display links to access both the WHMCS front end and the admin panel.
